About Us

Hi, we’re Gemma and Sophia.

We are mental health and wellbeing specialists, each with 8+ years of teaching experience working with toddlers, teens and between children and young adults.

We want to help you foster and grow the relationship with your child and help your child become emotionally literate to deal with and articulate themselves at the right time, to the right person, in the right way.

We offer bespoke and tailored 1-1 troubleshooting guidance for you about the behaviour, wellbeing and mental health support to help your toddlers, teens and betweens.

Gemma

Toddler and Between Expert,

BSc (Hons), PGCE

I completed my Primary PGCE Qualification with Teach First at the Institute of Education in 2013. I went on to work in a variety of Primary Schools in Central and Greater London in both the state and private sector. I have always been passionate about learning and understanding children’s wellbeing and the impact of family circumstances on their behaviour.

Following my time shadowing in the SENCo Department, I went on to achieve my Level 2 ‘Counselling Skills for Working with Children’. I have now completed my Level 3 qualification and I am a trained Mental Health First Aid England ‘Youth Mental Health First Aider’ and have completed a ‘Psychological First Aid’ course as well as a CBT course. I am also a Place2Be Mental Health Champion and I am a Primary School Teacher. I am completing my child, adolescent and family counselling course at the Tavistock and Portman in September 2023.

As Toddler and Between expert, I support parents with the mental health, wellbeing and behaviour of their toddlers and betweens.

In my spare time I love spending time with my family, including my two young children, as well as doing exercise, socialising and going on holidays!
